More about me
I was born into a deep-rooted Israeli family who has provided me love and familiarity with the country. My grandparents immigrated to Israel in the 1920' and were among the pioneers of the 3rd Aliya. My grandmother was a daughter of the founders of Petah Tikva the first Jewish modern setelment. Both my parents were Palmach fighters and founders of the kibbutz, and my brother was killed in Sinai in the Yom Kippur war. These are just a small part of people that I was honored to know personally and who have provided me with information about the country and its history, information that I would be privileged to share with you.
I was born in Ashkelon in the south of Israel on 1964 , grew up in a Moshav near Jerusalem, and since 2002 I have lived in Kfar Vradim in the heart of the Galilee. I am happily married to Ruth and a proud father of four children.
Ever since I can remember I love to travel and have travelled the country hundreds of times in each possible mode of transport: on foot, by bike and jeep etc., and have gotten to meet many people and places across the country.
After 15 years of working in the hi-tech industry I decided to turn my hobby / obsession to my profession and completed my professional training courses in theoretical and practical studies:
- Tour guide course, certified as part of the Ministry of Tourism at the University of Haifa (License # 12838)
- Wilderness Adventure Instructor course
- Training in rappelling and rock climbing
- Off-road driving training
- Overseas group escort course (completed in 1991)
My hobbies include long-distance running, diving, sailing and photography. I love meeting new people and I'm happy to show and introduce them to the country I know so well and to create for them a wonderful and unforgettable experience.
You are welcome to travel, discover and experience Israel with me.
